We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Head of Talent Acquisition with deep expertise in IT Recruitment to lead and scale our technology hiring function. This role will be responsible for building a high-performing recruitment engine that attracts, engages, and hires top-tier technology talent across engineering, product, data, cloud, cybersecurity, DevOps, and enterprise systems. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capability, data-driven decision-making, stakeholder management expertise, and a proven track record of hiring at scale in fast-paced technology environments.
Requirements
IT Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Design and execute a comprehensive IT recruitment strategy aligned with business growth plans.
- Partner with CTOs, Engineering Heads, and Product Leaders to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines.
- Develop workforce planning models to support expansion, transformation, and critical skill hiring.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of IT recruiters and sourcing specialists.
- Establish clear KPIs, performance metrics, and hiring SLAs.
- Drive capability building within the TA team on niche technology hiring and market intelligence.
Technology Hiring Expertise
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles across software engineering, AI/ML, cloud platforms, data engineering, cybersecurity, ERP, and infrastructure.
- Drive hiring across multiple experience bands including lateral, leadership, and niche tech roles.
- Build strong sourcing strategies leveraging job portals, social platforms, tech communities, referrals, and headhunting.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Develop strong employer branding initiatives targeting the tech ecosystem.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate journey from sourcing to onboarding.
- Strengthen presence across digital platforms and technology communities.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on talent market trends, compensation benchmarking, and competitor analysis.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, RPO partners, and job platforms.
- Drive campus hiring strategies for technology institutes where applicable.
Data-Driven Recruitment
- Monitor and optimize recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, and offer-to-join ratios.
- Leverage ATS systems and recruitment analytics to improve hiring efficiency.
- Present hiring dashboards and insights to senior leadership.
Process & Compliance Excellence
- Standardize recruitment processes ensuring fairness, diversity, and compliance.
- Implement structured interview frameworks for technical evaluation.
- Drive diversity hiring initiatives within technology functions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 10-17 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition with strong focus on IT Recruitment.
- Proven experience hiring for complex and niche technology roles.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern tech stacks.
- Expertise in sourcing through LinkedIn, Boolean search, talent mapping, and market research.
- Experience leading TA teams in mid to large-sized organizations.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS and recruitment analytics tools.
- High ownership, strategic thinking, and ability to operate in dynamic environments.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA/PGDM in HR or related field preferred
