ABOUT THE ROLE
As Adiance scales its product lines and global partnerships, we are looking for a proactive Talent Acquisition & HR Operations Specialist to own the end-to-end recruitment function and support core HR processes. You will be the key hiring engine for our engineering, product, sales, and operations teams — hiring tech talent for AI, embedded systems, firmware, cloud, and surveillance domains, alongside corporate and support functions. This is a high-impact dual-function role suited for someone who loves both sourcing great talent and running smooth HR operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Talent Acquisition — IT & Technical Hiring
› Drive end-to-end recruitment for technical roles: Embedded Engineers, Firmware Developers, AI/ML Engineers, IoT Specialists, Cloud Backend Developers, QA Engineers, and more
› Collaborate with CTO, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand technical requirements and translate them into accurate job descriptions
› Source high-quality candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and employee referrals
› Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews to assess cultural fit, communication, and technical background alignment
› Coordinate multi-round interview schedules (technical, managerial, HR) and ensure a smooth candidate experience
› Negotiate offers and manage pre-joining engagement to maximize offer-to-joining conversion
› Maintain ATS data hygiene, recruitment dashboards, and pipeline reports for leadership review
› Track key metrics: Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, Source Effectiveness, Offer Acceptance Rate
B. Corporate Recruitment
› Manage hiring for non-tech functions: Sales (B2B/B2C/B2G), Marketing, Finance, Customer Support, and Admin
› Build and maintain a ready talent pipeline for critical roles to reduce time-to-hire
› Coordinate with Institute for campus hiring, placement agencies, consultancies, and staffing vendors for volume or niche roles
› Post job openings on company website, job portals, LinkedIn, and relevant industry forums
C. HR Operations
› Own the onboarding process — pre-joining documentation, Day 1 experience, orientation, ID setup, and buddy assignment
› Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HRMS data, and personal files
› Draft and issue HR letters: Offer Letters, Appointment Letters, Probation Confirmations, Relieving & Experience Certificates
› Handle employee queries on HR policies, leaves, benefits, and general HR matters professionally and promptly
› Assist in planning and executing employee engagement activities, team events, and internal HR communications
› Ensure basic statutory compliance awareness: PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, and Shops & Establishments Act (Gujarat)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Mandatory — All Three Must Be Present:
› IT Recruiter — Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience hiring software engineers, embedded/firmware engineers, AI/ML developers, or similar tech profiles in a product or manufacturing tech company
› Technical Recruitment — Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical JDs, evaluate resumes for niche tech stacks, and assess candidates' technical depth during screening
› Corporate Recruitment — Experience managing structured hiring across business functions including sales, operations, and finance in a mid-size organization
Additional Skills:
› Proficiency with sourcing platforms: LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri.com, Shine, Indeed, GitHub
› Working knowledge of any HRMS/ATS: Zoho People, Keka, Darwinbox, GreytHR, or similar
› Familiarity with employment laws applicable in Gujarat — PF, ESI, PT, Shops & Establishments
› Strong written and verbal communication in English and Hindi (Gujarati a plus)
› High sense of ownership, urgency, and the ability to work independently in a lean team
› Data-oriented with the ability to maintain and report recruitment metrics regularly
GOOD TO HAVE
› Prior experience hiring for electronics manufacturing, IoT, embedded systems, or surveillance/security industry
› Understanding of startup/growth-stage company HR dynamics
› Experience with employer branding initiatives — LinkedIn pages, Glassdoor, job portal presence
QUALIFICATIONS
› Bachelor's or Master's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
› MBA (HR) preferred; strong experience may substitute formal qualification
› HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) are a bonus
