Responsibilities:

• Create winning fragrances in response to customer briefs. 
• Assist the Fragrance Creative Manager in adapting and translating of all fragrance formula transfers from other Takasago Centres for local production.

• Assist in the marketing presentations to customers including new fragrance concepts.
• Keep abreast of market trends both regionally and globally and regular review of the Global fragrance market.
• Closely reviewing the local tastes and specific customer requirements in the region by maintaining close contact with our key accounts.
• Provide Technical help as needed to other departments in Takasago.
• Assist in the evaluation of raw materials and finished products.
• To carry out any additional job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time. 
• Comply with all applicable procedures and legal and other requirements. 
• Comprehend client briefs and setting the fragrance direction for Perfumery.
• Initiate & direct the fragrance development program by providing constructive suggestions, directive feedback to achieve optimum creativity. 
• Anticipates market tastes and understands key brands of target clients and their performance versus competition. 
• Maintain internal fragrance compilation database & utilize these fragrance ideas in diverse projects. 
• Controls “Check Points” during brief process including cost, norms, stability, base availability and marketing information. 
• Works closely with Marketing on proactive concept generation, new fragrance/product ideas, fragrance mapping and client olfactive presentations. 
• Participates in olfactive analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative fragrance development, candidates for benchmark testing, and innovative product forms.
• A strong sensory knowledge about fragrance families and market types.  
• Able to manage client expectations and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
