About the Role We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale our platform services and frameworks. This role is ideal for someone who understands the evolution of startups from 0 to 1, 1 to 10, and 10 to 100 and has deep expertise in scaling databases, application servers, and data infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring our platform remains highly available, performant, and scalable while laying the foundation for future data analytics and business intelligence. You`ll Get To Design and build common services and frameworks to enhance platform scalability and reliability. Optimize and scale applications from 10x to 100x growth while maintaining high performance and low latency. Improve database performance as data volume grows, addressing indexing, sharding, replication, and query optimization challenges. Address concurrency issues in databases, ensuring transactional integrity and efficient data access. Scale FastAPI servers and infrastructure, ensuring resilience and efficient resource utilization. Implement robust logging and monitoring for activity tracking, providing the foundation for data warehousing. Design and build a scalable BI (Business Intelligence) infrastructure to enable real-time insights without compromising system stability. Collaborate with engineering, data, and DevOps teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability. Identify and mitigate bottlenecks in application performance, using profiling, tracing, and observability tools. We`re Looking For 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, backend development, or infrastructure engineering. Strong expertise in FastAPI, Python, and microservices architecture. Deep knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) and experience in optimizing large-scale databases. Experience with scaling applications and distributed systems from tens to hundreds of nodes. Strong understanding of concurrency issues in databases and backend systems. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures (AWS,GCP,Azure). Experience in observability, logging, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, etc.). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI tools (Snowflake, Redshift, Looker, Metabase, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and a product-focused mindset. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with real-time data processing and analytics. Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and scaling infrastructure.
