Backend Developer (Python / FastAPI)

We need a cracked backend developer who doesn’t just wait for tasks but dives in, experiments, learns fast, and shapes the product alongside us. If you love exploring new tech, solving tricky problems, and working with AI-assisted tools, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Build, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs using Python & FastAPI.
- Ensure APIs are secure, performant, and well-documented.
- Implement authentication and authorization flows (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
- Design and maintain structured databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams for seamless integrations.
- Explore and implement cloud solutions (AWS/GCP), preffered.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Leverage AI/agentic coding tools like Windsurf, Claude, GPT to improve development efficiency.
- Take ownership of problems, experiment boldly, and improve processes without being task-dependent.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Python & FastAPI expertise.
- Good, clear fundamentals of JavaScript and Python-based frameworks.
- Proficient in Git and version control best practices.
- Strong understanding of structured databases, backend architecture, and data modeling.
- Deep knowledge of secure API design and authentication/authorization.
- Ability to write clear, contextual documentation for APIs and backend logic.
- Curious, autonomous, and proactive – not just “doing tasks.”
- Loves learning new tech, experimenting, and optimizing workflows.
- Good communication and team collaboration.
Nice-to-Haves:
- ReactJS / NextJS knowledge.
- Linux & cloud experience (AWS/GCP).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted dev tools.
- Experience with testing frameworks, caching, database optimization, and microservices.
- AI agentic frameworks (CrewAI/Langchain)
