Job Title: Tableau Architect

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Tableau Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade BI solutions using Tableau. This role requires deep expertise in data visualization, dashboard performance optimization, and business intelligence strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to create scalable and insightful dashboards and reporting solutions..
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Define and implement Tableau best practices, governance, and security models.
- Collaborate with data teams to optimize data sources for Tableau consumption.
- Translate business requirements into data models and visualizations.
- Ensure data integrity, usability, and visualization performance.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor Tableau developers on visualization best practices.
- Drive adoption and usage of BI tools across the organization.
- Support pre-sales engagements, including architecture advisory, POCs, scoping, and solutioning.
- Provide input to proposals, effort estimations, and project planning as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization.
- Strong Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server/Cloud.
- Strong background in data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL and working with large datasets.
- Experience in integrating data from multiple sources into Tableau.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI, Sigma, Looker, Amazon QuickSight etc.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data transformation.
- Exposure to cloud BI architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in client-facing roles, including pre-sales, solutioning, and delivery planning.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce data models, including Standard and Custom Objects
- Tableau certification (Tableau Desktop/Consultant Certified Professional).

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional BI initiatives.
