Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager at Hitachi, Ltd. will lead and optimize recruitment strategies and processes to attract, engage, and hire top talent across various business units. This role is critical in supporting Hitachi's growth and innovation by building a strong workforce.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with Hitachi's business objectives and long-term workforce planning.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination for a diverse range of roles.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and Recruiters, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand staffing needs, define job requirements, and provide guidance on best hiring practices.
- Leverage various recruitment channels, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, social media, professional networks, and university relations programs.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and data to identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to position Hitachi, Ltd. as an employer of choice.
- Evaluate and implement new recruitment technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting for a wide range of positions, including technical, engineering, corporate, and executive roles.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing methodologies, and employer branding strategies.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR technologies (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and global organizational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive data-informed decisions.
- Knowledge of Japanese business culture and experience working for a Japanese multinational corporation is a plus.
