Job Summary**
Recruiting is a specialized area of staffing and recruiting focused on attracting and placing prospective employees including: Promoting the organization’s image as a desirable place to work. Attracting, recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates. Recommending placement of internal and external candidates for entry-level and experienced positions. Referring applicants for particular job openings, administering pre-employment tests, checking references, conducting exit interviews for candidates declining offers, and providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates. May assist with job advertising and posting A Manager (M3) manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Responsibilities typically include: Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex. Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
What you will bring
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with Hitachi's business objectives and growth plans.
- Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective delivery of recruitment services.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand current and future talent needs and provide strategic guidance.
- Leverage various sourcing channels and innovative recruitment technologies to identify and attract diverse candidates.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and continuously improve TA processes and outcomes.
- Develop and manage the TA budget, ensuring cost-effective and efficient resource allocation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruitment best practices, industry trends, and employment laws.
- Champion Hitachi's employer brand and employee value proposition to enhance our attractiveness as an employer of choice.
- Lead or participate in special projects related to talent acquisition, such as ATS implementation, employer branding initiatives, or diversity and inclusion programs.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing effective recruitment strategies for a large, complex organization.
- Strong understanding of various recruitment methodologies, tools, and technologies (e.g., ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics, identify insights, and drive continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in a global or multinational environment is a plus.
