Temenos/T24 & Java Developer – Senior Consultant/ Deputy Manager

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced T24 & Java professional to join our team as a Senior Developer or Tech Lead at Deputy Manager / Manager level. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Temenos T24 (Transact) along with Java-based development, and will be responsible for delivering high-quality banking solutions, driving technical design, and leading development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work efficiently as part of an international multi-disciplinary team to drive the project to completion.
- Participate to the full development Agile lifecycle including design, estimation, planning, development, unit test, release, implementation and post production support.
- Provide production/L3 support for the delivered projects.
- Work with the Business Analyst and Solution architects to understand the business requirements and translate them to technical solutions in the application.
- Contribute / review the technical specifications.
- Responsible for managing & reporting technical risks.
- Control and Maintain the quality of the developments (norms & standards, frameworks, source control, technical reviews, code reviews)
- Prefer to have experience with L3 customization related to Securities module
- Work with L1/L2 support team in case of emergency production issue and provide support in fixing the production incidents.
- Provide guidance to team members.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Important to have some knowledge / experience of Temenos T24/Transact Software package customization
- Hands-on experience with various Java / Web technologies and frameworks: Spring (Core, Security, MVC), JPA, REST API, JMS.
- And acombination of additional skills/experience in:
- Docker, Kubernetes, Wildfly/Jboss
- IBM MQ, Active MQ, Kafka
- Cloud platform say IBM cloud, Keda, Prometheus
- PostgreSQL, MySQL/MSSQL
- Experience in intra and inter team collaboration to build and to deliver Web / Mobile solutions.
- Hands-on experience on API related activities: requirement analysis, design, resource-based API modeling, micro-services architecture.
- Strong knowledge about design patterns and development principles.
- Good practical knowledge of design of RDBMS and SQL
- Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience and knowledge of automated testing (TDD, BDD).
- Proven/previous experience with CI/CD, DevOps and Agile.
- General knowledge/experience on Banking or knowledge related to Wealth Management / Private banking.
