We are seeking applications:
Position: Lead Engineer - Telecom Design - Faridabad
Hiring to lead design, integration, testing, and commissioning of all telecom systems for metro rail projects.
Location: Faridabad
Missions/Main Duties:
- Design and manage fibre optic networks, radio (TETRA/LTE), CCTV, PA, PIS, and access control
- Ensure integration with signalling, SCADA, rolling stock, and OCC
- Produce and review technical specifications, design reports, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and bill of quantities (BOQ)
- Lead FAT, SAT, and system cutovers with minimal service disruption
- Manage subcontractors, junior engineers, and technical interfaces
- Ensure compliance with railway safety and cybersecurity standards
- Pre-Bid Support, Tender Technical Document preparation
Profile/Skills:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
- 8–15 years’ experience, with 8+ years in metro/rail
- Hands-on with IP networking, TETRA/LTE, CCTV, PIS, ACIDS, PAVA, SCADA, Telephone
- Knowledge of tunnel/trackside EMC and installation constraints
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
