You should excel in working with global stakeholders, have outstanding communication and leadership skills, and report to the Manufacturing lead.
Job Title: Industrialization & V&V Lead – Test Benches (Aerospace Systems)
Position Overview
What You’ll Do:
Ensure test benches are designed to be manufacturable, maintainable, and scalable.
Lead the industrialization and deployment of test benches used to validate aerospace systems and components.
Own the verification and validation (V&V) of test benches to ensure they accurately simulate and measure system performance.
Coordinate with design, instrumentation, and production teams.
Analyze engineering, technical, and manufacturing data packs received from customers for test environments.
Manage suppliers for hardware and software components used in test benches.
Drive standardization and process optimization across test bench platforms.
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety protocols.
Define the V&V strategy for both hardware and software of test benches.
Develop and execute test plans for calibration, functionality, and reliability of benches.
Ensure traceability between system requirements and test capabilities.
Analyze test results and validate accuracy of measurements.
Work with system engineers to ensure complete test coverage.
Key Collaboration Areas:
Design for Testability: Ensure benches are easy to test (Industrial Lead) and meet all test requirements (V&V Lead).
Quality Assurance: Work together to meet aerospace quality and safety standards.
Feedback Loop: Use V&V findings to improve design; consider industrial limitations when planning V&V.
Lifecycle Support: Ensure long-term support and upgrade options for test benches.
Main Responsibilities
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (ECE/EEE) or equivalent.
8+ years of experience in Industrialization and V&V of Test Benches/Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Good understanding of system lifecycle – from design to validation and qualification.
Experience working with Data Packs including COTS, boards, mechanical, electrical parts, and harnesses.
Proficient in reading and interpreting ATP, IVVQPR, and test case documentation.
Knowledge of software installation and configuration on IPC/PC.
Skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for test failures.
Familiar with Configuration and Change Management (CM) processes.
Able to work independently and understand complex systems.
Experience in process flow, control plans, FMEA, and ensuring compliance to defined processes.
Knowledge of cable harness and subassembly manufacturing processes.
Awareness and adherence to 5S, safety norms, and handling of shelf-life items.
Ensure RoHS and REACH compliance of components.
Understanding of IPC A-610 & IPC WHMA-A-620 acceptance criteria.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS 9100 quality standards.
Good knowledge of Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and deviation processes.
Experience in proposal estimation and updates.
