Your Job
As a System Test Engineer at Molex, you will play a critical role in validating and delivering high-quality embedded automotive systems. You will work closely with global cross-functional teams to ensure products meet system requirements, performance standards, and customer expectations while contributing to innovation in next-generation automotive technologies.
Our Team
You will be part of the Connected Mobility Solutions (CMS) engineering team, a collaborative and globally distributed group focused on automotive networking, infotainment, and advanced connectivity solutions. The team works closely with design, validation, and product engineering groups to bring cutting-edge innovations to market.
What You Will Do
- Drive system-level validation by translating requirements into effective test strategies and scenarios
- Design, develop, and execute system and integration test cases for embedded automotive products
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to identify risks, debug issues, and ensure product quality
- Build and enhance automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage
- Analyze test results, generate insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Ensure traceability and compliance with Automotive SPICE and industry standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing electronic/embedded systems
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN/LIN
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or CAPL
- Experience with CAN tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar
What Will Put You Ahead
- ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing
- Experience with diagnostics (UDS), NFC, or functional safety validation
- Familiarity with tools such as Polarion, DOORS, Git, or SVN
- Knowledge of Automotive SPICE, V-model, and Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture or automotive cybersecurity validation
- Exposure to wireless charging (Qi) or automotive USB technologies
