Role Description The System Engineer – IT (Kota, Rajasthan) is a full-time, on-site role responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring servers and networks, performing routine system administration, and ensuring the availability and reliability of all critical systems. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, providing timely technical support to internal users, and implementing system design enhancements to support business and R&D operations. The System Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute upgrades, manage backups and security protocols, and document configurations and procedures. This position is based at the Kota facility and requires close coordination with local stakeholders to maintain secure, efficient, and compliant IT environments.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to plan, implement, and improve IT infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess solid System Administration skills, including server management, user account management, and routine maintenance.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess effective Technical Support skills to assist users, manage tickets, and communicate solutions clearly.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments, networking (LAN/WAN), and IT security practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Kota, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with R&D and operations teams is essential.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) and prior experience in industrial or R&D settings are an advantage.
