About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Services team. This role involves a combination of project implementation, enterprise network support, client consulting, and network transformation initiatives across global environments.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in enterprise networking, routing & switching, SD-WAN, firewalls, and multi-vendor network infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams and enterprise customers to design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise WAN/LAN and cloud network infrastructure.
- Support network transformation and migration projects including SD-WAN deployments.
- Troubleshoot complex enterprise network issues across global environments.
- Work closely with clients to understand technical requirements and provide tailored network solutions.
- Configure and support routing and switching technologies in multi-site enterprise environments.
- Support deployment and management of next-generation firewalls and security solutions.
- Participate in network escalations and on-call support rotations.
- Prepare technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate with ISPs, vendors, and cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.
- Participate in DR testing, network optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking and network operations.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS.
- Hands-on experience with routing, switching, VLANs, STP/RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, EtherChannel, and VRF.
- CCNP Certification
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies such as Cisco Viptela, Catalyst SD-WAN, Fortinet SD-WAN, or Meraki.
- Experience with enterprise firewalls including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Meraki.
- Good understanding of VPN technologies including IPSec, GRE, and DMVPN.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst switches, Nexus switches, and wireless infrastructure.
- Exposure to monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in client-facing roles and enterprise support environments.
Good to Have
- Experience with VMware, SAN, or Disaster Recovery environments
- Knowledge of multi-tenant infrastructure, VDOMs, or VRF-Lite
- Exposure to cloud networking technologies
