Role Description
We're building something new. And I need someone who loves to build.
For the past few years, our team has been deep in 3D metrology — AM-DESK, handheld scanning, dimensional inspection. We know quality. We know precision manufacturing.
Now we're launching a new vertical — Automated Vision Inspection Systems. Camera rings, laser sensors, AI-powered defect detection, bore gauges. Full turnkey inspection cells for precision manufacturers.
We've already designed our first system. We have the first customer conversation in progress. Now I need the person who makes it real.
🔍 VISION SYSTEM ENGINEER — [ Your City ]
What you'll actually do:
→ Design camera ring layouts and lighting for real inspection applications
→ Configure and train Cognex VisionPro Deep Learning AI models on customer parts
→ Commission inspection cells — FAT at our facility, SAT at customer sites
→ Own the vision layer of every project we build
What you need to bring:
✅ Cognex VisionPro hands-on — not just observed, actually built and deployed
✅ GigE camera setup — trigger config, lens selection, lighting design
✅ Live production system commissioning — at least 2 complete systems
✅ Ability to read a GD&T drawing and translate it into inspection logic
What you'll get:

Qualification

- Strong skills in Systems Engineering and Systems Design, with experience in developing and optimizing complex vision system
- sProficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficientl
- yExperience in System Administration to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of hardware and software component
- sStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environmen
- tBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related fiel
- dFamiliarity with metrology and industrial automation technologies is a plu
