Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the System Architect to elaborate system/product design, including refinement of hardware and software components.
- Analyze, clarify, and validate input requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Perform conceptual system design, including system modeling, trade-off studies, design principles, real-time analysis, and technical mock-ups for risk reduction.
- Support software design, development, and testing activities across the full lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain formal system specifications following established standards and templates.
- Prepare and conduct module-level tests and verification activities.
- Work closely with global and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Contribute to standardization initiatives through reuse or development of reusable components.
- Participate in material selection and procurement activities when required.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience in railway signaling systems and signaling architectures.
- Proficiency in Embedded C and C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and model-based development methodologies.
- Knowledge of system modeling tools and design frameworks.
- Familiarity with MATLAB for simulation and system modeling.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
- Ability to perform system-level design analysis and validation.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering - IT, Computer Science, ECE, EEE, or equivalent
