Role Description The System Design Architect is a full-time remote role responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of complex technology solutions that support clients’ digital transformation initiatives. This role involves translating business requirements into scalable system architectures, creating detailed design documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with strategic goals. The architect will review and refine system designs, guide implementation teams, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards. Daily activities include participating in client workshops, producing architectural diagrams and technical specifications, coordinating design reviews, and providing mentorship on best practices in system design and integration. The role also includes continuous evaluation of emerging technologies to recommend improvements and maintain a future-ready architecture roadmap.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills for complex, scalable, and secure technology solutions.
- Candidates should possess Design Management skills to coordinate cross-functional design activities and ensure consistency across system components.
- Candidates should possess Construction Drawings and technical documentation skills to create clear diagrams, specifications, and implementation guides.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present architectural decisions, and lead technical discussions.
- Proficiency in system integration, cloud-based architectures, and enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Experience with security-by-design principles, performance optimization, and reliability engineering in distributed systems is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in an architect or senior design role within technology consulting, digital transformation, or enterprise environments.
