Role Description The Senior Accountant role at NoBroker HR is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and journal entries. The Senior Accountant will prepare and review financial statements, support month-end and year-end closing, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and assist with audits and tax-related activities. The role includes analyzing financial data to support management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as recommending process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and senior leadership, is essential to ensure timely and reliable financial information.
Qualifications
- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and understanding of Indian GAAP/Ind AS.
- Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to support data-driven business decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills for data handling and reporting.
- Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and internal controls within the Indian regulatory environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present financial insights clearly.
- Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional qualifications like CA, CMA, or equivalent are a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably in a fast-paced technology, PropTech, or high-growth company environment.
