Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on
IT Administrator / Desktop Support Engineer to manage day-to-day IT operations and ensure smooth functioning of the company’s IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting employee laptops, printers, LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity, conference room equipment, and other office IT hardware. The role requires strong experience in supporting both
Windows and macOS devices, resolving daily IT tickets, managing employee onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining IT assets.
Experience with
Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management / MDM tools will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for employees, including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, LAN, Wi-Fi, and other office hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity-related issues.
- Manage and support both Windows laptops and Apple MacBooks.
- Configure, provision, and support employee laptops and endpoints.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including laptop setup, email/account configuration, software installation, access creation, and access removal.
- Install, configure, and maintain printers, conference room systems, biometric devices, and other IT peripherals.
- Ensure smooth LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across the office.
- Respond to internal IT tickets and resolve issues within expected timelines.
- Maintain IT asset inventory, including laptops, accessories, printers, and other hardware.
- Track device allocation, returns, replacements, repairs, and warranty status.
- Support Microsoft 365 / Office 365 user management, email setup, and basic access-related tasks.
- Maintain basic IT documentation, including asset records, troubleshooting steps, and user access details.
- Coordinate with vendors, internet service providers, and internal departments whenever required.
- Ensure all office IT systems and devices run smoothly with minimum downtime.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT administration, desktop support, or endpoint support.
- Strong experience supporting Windows laptops and macOS / Apple MacBooks.
- Good understanding of laptop setup, troubleshooting, formatting, software installation, and device configuration.
- Basic understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet troubleshooting.
- Experience in printer setup, peripheral installation, and conference room IT support.
- Experience handling employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
- Good understanding of endpoint security, access control, and device maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to support non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily IT support tickets efficiently.
