Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, support, and maintain monitoring solutions on End user machines
• Maintain systems by keeping them tuned and compliant with company standards for optimum performance and capacity utilization
• Should work with various vendors /OEM Partners in case of any Hardware Failures to replace / rectify the issue observed/reported.
• Participate in IT Inventory Management Activity which includes Asset Tagging, Labeling & Maintenance.
• Participate in Various new IT Initiatives & Projects.
• Able to troubleshoot most of the Windows & O365 issues.
• Deployments of Desktops / Laptops / Workstation / Servers according to the specific project needs.
• Participate in IT procurement process (Benchmarking the specs for the project requirement, Getting Quotation from vendors and raising appropriate purchase requests)
• Manage incidents/ service requests assigned.
• Adhere to IT established processes and policies.
• Adhere to IT established service and operational level agreements.
• Participates in activities or identifies opportunities to enhance own knowledge and skills

• Perform initial diagnosis on the causes of critical health events (in event logs, event viewer,
  
  

WMI, etc.) to understand the issue in depth and escalate to appropriate teams as needed

• Handle Patch Management Activities & Vulnerability Mitigate Activities.
• Participate in Technical & Knowledge Base Document Creation.
  
  

Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of computer systems, OS (Windows, MAC & Linux) & Hardware
• Strong understanding on Windows Client & Server Operating System.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Operating System (Windows 10, Windows 2016/2019)
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of Desktop / Laptop / Printers / Peripherals.
• Strong knowledge of Anti-Virus Clients, Vulnerabilities & Patch management
• Basic understanding of enterprise network LAN, WAN and Wireless.
• Basic understanding of Datacenter.
• Good Understanding of IT Monitoring Tools.
• Good understanding on Data Cabling (LAN RJ-45 Cable Crimping)
• Good understanding on Network/Server Rack Mounting & Organizing
• Good understanding of Virtualization (VMware, Virtual box, Hyper-V) & RAID.
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SCCM.
• Basic Understanding of Linux Operating (Ubuntu / CentOS / Fedora).
• Basic Understanding of Scripting (Bash / PowerShell).
