Job Title: System Administrator (SysAdmin)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of systems, networks, and servers while maintaining security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, systems, and networks
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
• Ensure data backup, recovery, and disaster management processes
• Maintain system security, including firewalls, antivirus, and updates
• Support hardware and software installation and upgrades
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Provide technical support to internal teams
  
  

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
• Experience with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• Familiarity with virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Understanding of security best practices
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
• Knowledge of backup tools and disaster recovery
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix)
• Certifications like MCSA, RHCSA, or equivalent
