Job Summary
The dietary aide will assist the dietary manager in providing dietetic services for patients and hospital employees.
Essential Job Functions
· Performs a variety of food service duties including cooking, assembling and delivering patient trays.
· Preparing meals and serving food to staff.
· Cleaning of kitchen area and other routine duties related to food preparation.
· Completes routine kitchen maintenance including cleaning cabinets, floors, and equipment as directed.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
· Knowledge and certification in food handling policies and procedures required.
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
Skills/Competencies
· Excellent communication skills.
· Organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
