Junior Software Engineer (Hyderabad | 5 LPA)

If you're someone who loves building real products, solving messy problems with clean logic, and experimenting with AI while you code - Synapx wants you on our team.

What Youll Do

• Work closely with the Product Lead to understand requirements, user flows, and delivery expectations. Clear briefs, no confusion.
• Collaborate with developers, UI designers, PMs, and data analysts to understand how features connect and why they matter.
• Build clean, functional, well-structured code - whatever your preferred language or stack.
• Take ownership end-to-end: logic, API interactions, data handling, and clarity in implementation.
• Be in office 3 days a week (Hyderabad, mandatory) for hands-on collaboration, clarity, and fast feedback loops.
• Use AI tools smartly (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to speed up development, debugging, documentation, and exploration.

Skills Were Looking For

• 0-2 years of experience in software development - fresh grads with solid projects are welcome.
• Strong fundamentals in any one programming language: Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, etc.
• Understanding of APIs, backend logic, and data flow concepts.
• Ability to break down problems and think clearly through logic.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of your coding workflow.
• Bonus: Exposure to Azure, Dataverse, Power Platform, or small full-stack builds.

Assessment Details (Mandatory for Applicants)

As part of the application, youll build a small technical project (links attached):

Your assessment should demonstrate:

• Extraction of key fields from FNOL (First Notice of Loss) documents
• Identification of claim type, policy data, incident details
• Basic logic to flag missing or inconsistent information
• Simple workflow routing (e.g., fast-track vs manual review)
• Optional: basic prediction logic (rule-based or ML, your choice)
• Optional: brief explanation in the output for how decisions were made
