About Syensqo

Role Overview
Syensqo is building a next-generation enterprise data platform on Microsoft Azure to enable scalable, real-time, and AI-driven analytics across the organization. We are seeking experienced Data Engineering experts to design, develop, and optimize this cloud-native ecosystem.
The role involves integrating data from multiple enterprise systems, establishing robust and automated data pipelines, implementing strong governance and security frameworks, and delivering high-quality, analytics-ready datasets. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build reliable, enterprise-grade data solutions at scale.
The platform will support cross-functional analytics across key business domains such as Sales, Industrial, R&I, HR, Finance and Operations enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.

Key responsibilities:

Participate in building new IT capacities for the business.
Develop, monitor and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms in production.
Respond to and resolve incident tickets related to data operations.
Optimize operational processes for efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with the data team and its stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability.
Document operational procedures and incident resolutions.

Education and experience*

Indicate the required education in terms of minimum years of education, required type of degree, field of studies, etc. and the required knowledge and/or experience in terms of minimum years of experience in the respective field

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data operations, data engineering, or similar roles.
Experience with CI/CD pipeline (e.g. GitHub), data pipeline tools, SQL, and cloud platforms.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Strong competency with data manipulation: Python, SQL, cloud function (Azure function), proven expertise with Azure, Kafka…
Previous experience with MS Fabric would be a strong plus.
Proficiency in BMC Helix and/or JIRA for ticket/task management and Confluence for documentation
Have a good knowledge of RUN Service and experience with development
