Senior Property Treaty Underwriter / Property Treaty Underwriter

The Senior Property Treaty Underwriter / Property Treaty Underwriter will be responsible for: - Underwriting property treaty business, including portfolio, per risk and catastrophe excess of loss, facultative and proportional reinsurance - Evaluating and pricing reinsurance submissions, including collecting relevant information, analyzing exposure data, applying appropriate rating methodology and negotiating terms - Liaising with clients and brokers to understand their reinsurance needs and develop tailored reinsurance solutions - Monitoring and managing the portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities - Supporting the development of new products and services - Representing Swiss Re in client and industry meetings Requirements: - Demonstrated experience in property treaty underwriting, preferably in the global reinsurance market - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to interact effectively with clients and brokers - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Relevant industry designations or certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM) are desirable
