About the role

A Cabin Crew Member is a very important job, since you represent the face of SWISS to our passengers on the aircraft. You ensure that our guests feel comfortable on board with your smile, courteous manner and keen sense of responsibility. Your daily routine varies as much as our destinations: You are responsible for safety and well-being, following procedures and reacting spontaneously to different needs and situations. Your duties and tasks include: Familiarizing yourself thoroughly with every upcoming flight duty to ensure that you are optimally prepared for the rotation ahead, Preparing the aircraft cabin in a way that makes all your new guests feel welcome, Ensuring the due and full observance of all safety and security provisions in accordance with international guidelines, Conducting our inflight service confidently and professionally, and with full and constant regard to our SWISS quality standards, Preparing the meals for our guests in our galleys and making all the further service preparations, Promoting the inflight sales of our exclusive duty-free items, Making the products of our 'SWISS Senses' food and beverage offer as appealing as possible to our Economy Class guests on European flights. Our job requirements include: Swiss or EU national, Aged 18 or over at the time of application. There is no upper age limit, Minimum height: 155 cm, A service-minded approach and a genuine enjoyment of dealing and interacting with people from a wide range of cultures, Pronounced flexibility and adaptability, and a willingness to work irregular hours, Diligence, reliability and a team-player attitude, Resilience and good health, A completed professional apprenticeship (EFZ) or a higher school-leaving certificate (Matura, baccalaureate or similar), Very good German and English (Base Zurich) or French and English (Base Geneva) language skills are a must. Further languages are always an advantage, You have a well-groomed appearance. Tattoos are generally permitted except on the face, ears and large areas of the hands.
