Michezo Sports is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Site Engineer to join our Pan-India initiatives. In this role, you will play a vital part in representing our brand and overseeing the execution of premier sports infrastructure projects, with a special emphasis on swimming pools.
Reporting to: Pools Division - Head
Location: Pan India (based out of Bangalore)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess site conditions (soil type, topography, water table level) for feasibility.
- Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and clients to finalise pool layout, dimensions, and style.
- Recommend suitable construction materials, finishes, and pool equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers for pumps, filtration systems, heating systems, lighting, tiles, and safety equipment.
- Supervise excavation, formwork, steel reinforcement, and concreting/shotcrete application.
- Oversee waterproofing, tiling, coping, and decking works.
- Integrate heating, chlorination/saltwater systems, and water treatment units.
- Ensure electrical works for lighting, control panels, and automation are safely installed.
- Lead execution of pool project end to end.
- Quality Control and Safety.
- Commissioning and Handover
- After Sales Support.
Work Experience
3-5 years of experience in Swimming Pool Construction Projects and supervision, with an interest in infrastructure or sports infrastructure.
Education and Skills
- Under Graduation: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, B-Tech or Similar Roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in widely-used business software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, Slides), CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Good For Construction drawing (GFC) and project management platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Indian sports infrastructure landscape, with a preference for knowledge on the pool execution or prior experience.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Product Knowledge:
- Civil & structural engineering fundamentals.
- Pool hydraulics and filtration systems.
- Waterproofing and corrosion protection.
- Electrical safety and automation controls.
- Familiarity with international pool standards.
