Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Swim Coach, located in Mumbai. The Swim Coach will be responsible for conducting swimming lessons for participants of all age groups and skill levels, ensuring safety, and addressing the individual goals of learners. The coach will be expected to implement structured lesson plans based on the Michael Phelps Swimming curriculum and maintain a positive learning atmosphere while emphasizing water safety and skill development. Delivering high-quality instruction, engaging with participants and their guardians, and monitoring the safety of the pool area are key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Swim Instruction, including teaching swimming techniques and principles
- Strong skills in Swimming and experience in providing tailored Swim Lessons
- Expertise in Lifeguarding and ensuring water safety for participants
- Experience in Aquatics program coordination or management is a plus
- Certified in lifeguarding, CPR, and basic first aid (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse age groups and abilities
- A passion for teaching and a strong understanding of water safety principles
