About the role
We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress.
Build custom WordPress themes from scratch or modify existing themes.
Develop and customize WordPress plugins as needed.
Ensure responsive design and optimized site speed/performance.
Work with front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to execute projects effectively.
Maintain website security, including updates, monitoring, and backups.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (minimum 1-3 years).
Proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Ability to create and modify WordPress themes and plugins..
Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
Familiarity with tools like Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of RESTful services and API development.
Experience with website migration and server management.
