The SVP – Business Unit Head owns the end-to-end P&L and growth of the client business.
This role leads Sales, Marketing, and Delivery as one integrated business and is accountable for revenue, profitability, client growth, and delivery outcomes. This is a business owner role, not a functional leadership position.
Key Details:
- Location: Noida (Onsite for 3–6 months, followed by a hybrid model)
- Timings: 1 PM – 11 PM initially; will gradually move to partial overlap based on client meetings
- Visa Requirement: Valid B1 visa
- Additional Preference: Experience in Partnerships & Alliances
This is a pure technology sales role, focused on driving GTM strategy and new logo acquisition in the US market. As part of the evaluation, it would be helpful if you could share your inputs on the below:
1. AI Offerings Experience
- Have you been involved in selling or positioning AI-driven services or solutions (e.g., GenAI, AI analytics, automation, ML-based solutions) with clients?
- If yes, what kind of AI offerings were part of your portfolio, and what was your role in shaping or selling those solutions?
2. AI Adoption / Implementation
- Have you driven or implemented AI tools/models internally (e.g., in sales operations, delivery processes, customer analytics, automation, etc.)?
Key Responsibilities
1. Business & P&L Ownership
• Own revenue, profit, cost, and budget for the business unit
• Drive quarterly and annual business planning
• Take independent decisions on investments, offerings, and priorities
• Own billing accuracy and ensure strong collection discipline
2. Growth & Revenue Management
• Drive growth through:
o New logo acquisition
o Expansion of existing accounts
o Renewals and long-term client relationships
• Predict revenue accurately based on marketing pipeline and sales conversion
• Decide on service and consulting offerings; say no when offerings are not commercially or strategically viable
3. Sales, Marketing & Delivery Leadership
• Lead and align the Sales Head, Marketing Head, and Delivery Head
• Ensure marketing pipeline quality aligns with sales and delivery capability
• Ensure sales commitments are realistic, profitable, and executable
• Ensure delivery quality drives renewals and expansion
4. Client & Market Leadership
• Act as a CXO-level leader in client conversations, reviews, and escalations
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with US customers
• Position client as a solution and consulting partner, not just a service provider
5. People & Leadership
• Lead senior leaders and build future leaders
• Drive succession planning for critical roles
• Work with HR on workforce planning and capability building
• Create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and accountability
• Take responsibility for outcomes and empower teams instead of blaming them
Required Experience & Profile
• Proven Services P&L leadership experience
• Has successfully driven P&L for a services or consulting business
• Strong understanding of Sales, Marketing, and Delivery and how they work together
• Experience working with US markets and customers
• Ability to speak confidently in numbers — revenue, margins, costs, budgets
• Strong customer relationship management and consulting skills
• Valid B1 visa
Preferred (not mandatory):
• Experience with Associations or Non-Profits
• Background in Sales or Marketing
