Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Survey & Design Engineer role located in Lucknow. The Survey & Design Engineer will be responsible for conducting site surveys for solar panel installation projects, designing photovoltaic (PV) systems, creating layouts using CAD tools & SolidWorks, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure project accuracy and efficiency. Tasks also include analyzing site conditions, preparing technical reports, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Software Required- AutoCAD & Solid Works
Location- Lucknow (this is a partly field job)
Salary- Upto 20K + Incentive
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
- Background in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to apply these skills to solar energy projects
- Experience and expertise in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) & SolidWorks software for creating accurate engineering layouts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applicable to site surveys, project assessments, and renewable energy system design
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and prior experience in rooftop solar projects is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred
