About the role

Job Summary

We are hiring Production Operators to support day-to-day manufacturing and assembly operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for dependable team players who take pride in quality work, follow safety standards, and are comfortable working on their feet for extended periods.

Production Operators may rotate between work centers and shifts as needed to support production goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to work instructions
  • Meet required production rates (Units Per Hour – UPH)
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met and monitor prior operations for defects
  • Complete required production and quality documentation
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues and report concerns to a supervisor or team lead
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to reduce scrap and downtime
  • Participate in safety meetings, shift meetings, and required training
  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable attendance and positive work ethic

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing plant environment with seasonal temperature changes
  • Exposure to noise and bright lighting
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and other company-issued safety gear

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to push or pull carts up to 100 lbs for limited periods
  • Ability to remain focused and multitask in a production setting
