Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat for an Interior Designer, Architect & Draftsman (fresher or experienced). The role involves assisting in concept development, space planning, and detailing for interior and architectural projects under the guidance of senior team members. Daily responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, 2D/3D plans, and technical documentation, as well as coordinating layouts, finishes, and material specifications. The team member will support FF&E selections, mood boards, and presentations for clients, along with site visits for measurements, supervision, and quality checks as required. Collaboration with consultants, contractors, and vendors, as well as maintaining organized project files and timelines, is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into practical and aesthetic layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and building systems, including basic understanding of codes and construction practices.
- Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings, technical details, and documentation suitable for execution on site.
- Familiarity with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, material palettes, and finish specifications.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe Suite preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field; fresher candidates and candidates with prior studio or site experience are both welcome.
- Strong visualization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow design direction and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn, take feedback, and work in a studio environment.
