The impact you’ll make
- Enable predictable factory execution by ensuring alignment between demand, capacity, and production plans.
- Improve customer delivery performance through proactive constraint management and prioritization.
- Drive factory efficiency and flexibility by optimizing product mix, routing, and capacity utilization.
- Strengthen end-to-end planning alignment across Demand Management, Factory, and Supply Chain.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain factory production plans based on demand, capacity, and supply constraints.
- Translate demand into executable build plans and dynamically adjust to changing priorities.
- Co-own monthly factory sizing with Demand Management to align demand vs. operational readiness.
- Identify and resolve capacity constraints; drive prioritization for customer needs.
- Track performance to plan and drive cycle time, throughput, and execution improvements.
- Partner with Master Scheduling, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics for execution alignment.
- Ensure accuracy of planning inputs (forecast, inventory, capacity) and maintain process governance.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and factory performance.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 8–13 years of experience in production planning / supply chain / manufacturing operations.
- Proven people management experience with ability to lead and develop teams.
- Experience working with global teams in a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Production planning & capacity management
- S&OP / factory planning processes
- ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor / capital equipment / complex manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with factory sizing, slot planning, and product mix optimization
- Exposure to large-scale planning environments with multi-site coordination
- Experience driving process improvements or digital/analytics initiatives

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
