Senior Court Assistant-cum-Senior Programmer

The Supreme Court of India has announced vacancies for skilled individuals in the technical domain. The roles of Senior Court Assistant-cum-Senior Programmer and Junior Court Assistant-cum-Junior Programmer are crucial for the technological functioning of the court's registry. A total of 26 vacancies have been announced, though this number is subject to change based on the requirements of the Registry. Candidates are advised to read the complete notification carefully before applying to ensure they meet all the stipulated conditions as of April 1, 2025. Educational Qualification & Experience: A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized University, combined with 6 years of experience in the field of computerization. OR A Master's degree in Computer Application (MCA) or M.Sc in Computer Science from a recognized University, along with 6 years of experience in computerization. OR A B.Sc. in Computer Science or a Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) with First Class or at least 60% marks in aggregate, coupled with 7 years of experience in the field of computerization. Preferred Qualification: A Degree in Law from a recognized university will be considered an additional and preferred qualification. Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen and dependents of Freedom Fighters as per government rules. There is no upper age limit for eligible employees already working in the Registry of the Supreme Court of India. This relaxation in the upper age limit does not apply to candidates working in other Government Departments or Public Sector Undertakings.
