Job Purpose/ Summary
Support Stores & Commercial will be responsible for managing store operations, inventory control, material planning, and commercial coordination for the Metallics Plant. The role involves ensuring timely availability of spares, consumables, and operational materials to support uninterrupted plant operations and maintenance activities. The candidate will coordinate with procurement, maintenance, operations, and vendors for material management, documentation, SAP transactions, stock optimization, and compliance activities while maintaining cost efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Job Description
Support Stores WML will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing store operations, inventory control, and material planning within the Metallics Plant. This position is crucial for ensuring the seamless availability of spares, consumables, and operational materials, thereby supporting uninterrupted plant operations and maintenance activities. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with procurement, maintenance, operations, and vendors to ensure efficient material management, documentation, and SAP transactions. A key focus will be on stock optimization and compliance activities while maintaining cost efficiency and inventory accuracy. The role demands a proactive approach to managing commercial coordination and ensuring timely material availability. The Senior Engineer will also be tasked with maintaining high standards of safety and compliance in warehouse management practices. Additionally, the role involves preparing detailed reports and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost control.
Principal Accountabilities
Ensure the smooth functioning of stores and commercial operations within the Metallics Plantbr Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor the stock availability of critical spares and consumablesbr Coordinate material receipt storage issuance and reconciliation activities through SAPERP systemsbr Support maintenance and operations teams by ensuring timely material availability during breakdowns and shutdownsbr Verify commercial documents including GRN invoices challans and material records for accuracy and compliancebr Monitor inventory optimization practices to reduce excess stock and prevent material shortagesbr Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresbr Coordinate with procurement vendors and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of materialsbr Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper warehouse management practicesbr Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports related to inventory material consumption and store performancebr Identify and implement process improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency and cost controlbr Support management in achieving operational targets through effective material and store management
