Job Description
Responsible for overseeing rolling mill operations to ensure efficient production, consistent product quality, and adherence to safety and cost targets. The role involves process optimization, troubleshooting, and coordination with maintenance and quality teams to achieve operational excellence.
Principal Accountabilities
Plan monitor and control daily rolling mill production activities to meet output targets efficientlybrEnsure product quality by maintaining critical process parameters such as temperature speed and reduction ratiosbrOptimize rolling mill operations to enhance productivity yield and minimize downtimebrIdentify and resolve processrelated issues promptly coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliabilitybrMonitor mill performance analyze production data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellencebrEnsure strict adherence to safety standards standard operating procedures SOPs and regulatory requirementsbrManage shift operations effectively including manpower allocation and operator performance evaluationbrCollaborate closely with quality maintenance and dispatch teams to ensure a smooth and efficient workflowbrImplement costsaving measures by reducing scrap rework and energy consumptionbrSupport new product development and process trials contributing to the expansion of our product portfolio
