Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth functioning of products/services. The role involves handling client queries, resolving technical problems, and delivering high-quality support to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote tools
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/software or product-related issues
- Handle installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems/products
- Manage customer queries, complaints, and service requests efficiently
- Coordinate with internal teams (development, operations, sales) for issue resolution
- Maintain detailed records of issues, solutions, and service reports
- Ensure timely resolution of tickets as per defined SLAs
- Assist in product testing, upgrades, and system improvements
- Provide basic training and guidance to customers on product usage
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Understanding of hardware, networking, or software systems (based on industry)
- Good communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tickets
- Familiarity with ticketing tools / CRM systems
- Basic knowledge of installation and configuration processes
- Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (IT, Electronics, or related field)
- Experience in technical support / service engineering / helpdesk roles
