Support Engineer

Job Summary
As a Support Engineer at Temenos Headquarters S.A., you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our IT systems. You will provide technical assistance and support to internal and external users, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our support processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support to users, categorizing and classifying reported issues efficiently.
- Utilize advanced computer skills to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical problems.
- Perform database administration tasks, including database user interfaces and querying, to maintain data integrity and availability.
- Manage and maintain document management systems, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of information.
- Implement and manage expert systems to automate support processes and enhance problem resolution.
- Assist with graphics card installation and troubleshooting for various hardware configurations.
- Deliver exceptional information technology (IT) support, acting as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries.
- Conduct IT testing of new software and hardware to ensure functionality and compatibility.
- Contribute to knowledge management initiatives, creating and updating documentation for common issues and resolutions.
- Perform metadata management to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Administer and maintain office systems, including software and hardware, to support daily operations.
- Execute operating system setup and maintenance, including installations, updates, and configurations.
- Manage program installation, versioning, and patching across various applications.
- Communicate technical information clearly and concisely through strong verbal communication skills.
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a technical support role, demonstrating strong computer skills.
- Solid understanding of database administration principles and experience with database user interfaces and querying.
- Familiarity with document management systems and best practices.
- Experience with expert system management is a plus.
- Basic understanding of hardware components, including graphics card installation.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent information technology (IT) support.
- Experience with IT testing methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of knowledge management principles and practices.
- Understanding of metadata management concepts.
- Proficiency in office systems management.
- Experience with operating system setup and maintenance.
- Familiarity with program installation, versioning, and patching processes.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to categorize and classify issues effectively for efficient resolution.
