Job Description
The Assistant Manager for Support BF Mechanical WML plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of plant machinery and workshop equipment. This position is responsible for planning and executing both preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance. The role requires supervising workshop activities, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Assistant Manager will coordinate inventory management and procurement processes to maintain an adequate supply of spare parts. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime. The incumbent will maintain detailed maintenance records and reports, driving continuous improvement initiatives. A strong focus on compliance and safety is essential, as is the ability to foster effective team management and collaboration.
Principal Accountabilities
