Role Description The Supply Chain Specialist will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for fresh produce, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused deliveries. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves coordinating with farmers, distributors, logistics partners, and internal teams to manage procurement, inventory, and order fulfillment. Key responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, optimizing inventory turnover, tracking shipments, resolving operational issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also includes analyzing supply chain performance data, identifying process improvements, and supporting implementation of technology-driven solutions to enhance efficiency. The Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain service reliability and support continuous improvement in Famveg’s supply chain network.
Qualifications
- Strong Supply Chain Management skills, including experience in procurement, logistics coordination, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management and Operations Management to maintain optimal stock levels and streamline daily workflows.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with farmers, distributors, logistics partners, and internal teams.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor KPIs, and recommend improvements in processes and performance.
- Experience with ERP or supply chain software, and comfort working with technology-driven systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
- Knowledge of fresh produce, food logistics, or agri-supply chains is preferred.
