Maadho is a leading U.S. importer and distributor dedicated to providing customized packaging solutions for the food service and retail sectors. Maadho is focused on sourcing, designing, and importing a variety of products made from Paper, Corrugated, Plastic, Polypropylene, PLA and other Aluminum products. Our sourcing strategy follows a multi-country sourcing initiative, procuring directly from manufacturers in North America, South America, and the Middle East.
Must required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ of experience in sourcing.
- Expertise required in Sourcing of Packaging, Food-Service Disposables and Eco friendly / Biodegradable products.
- Expertise required in sourcing and procurement across Multi-Countries (North America, South America, Turkey, Taiwan, and India).
- Ability to procure the exact products as per business requirements through research, collaboration, and diligence with partners (Designers, Testing Agencies, Manufacturers).
- Excellent communication skills and command over English.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, and lead a team effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead end to end sourcing process, from sample development to mass production to quality control to export to import of product in U.S.
- Define, develop, negotiate and contract strategic souring solutions to meet business requirements.
- Procurement of supplies based on the company’s demand and supply.
- Monitor sourcing strategy and change the strategy according to the market condition if required to ensure better sourcing.
- Supervise negotiations and provide guidelines for relevant documentation including: Pro Forma Invoices, Testing / Inspection / Quality Control, and Export Documentation
- Enhance profitability by controlling/reducing costs, improving payment terms, managing inventory and optimizing supply chain efficiencies.
- Develop a sourcing plan for both for local and international sources, so that fast and effectively sourcing operations is possible.
- Develop and administer an efficient global supply chain and monitor inventory for all global products against demand and assist to increase growth.
- Coordinate with international logistic personnel to ensure proper shipment delivery.
