Job Description
- Oversee and optimise logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to meet business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement and supply chain processes
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and quality standards
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to improve overall efficiency
- Manage relationships with logistics vendors and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team to achieve organisational goals
The Successful Applicant
A successful Supply Chain Partnering Lead should have:
- A strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the retail/personal care industry
- Proven expertise in logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to enhance operational efficiency
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in logistics and supply chain management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships
