Job Summary
The Supply Chain Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing day-to-day supply chain activities across inventory management, reverse logistics, and asset disposition. This role analyzes operational and financial data to identify trends, improve processes, and drive cost efficiency. The analyst partners closely with cross-functional teams to support reporting, resolve data issues, and enhance visibility into supply chain performance through accurate analysis and standardized metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain, inventory, logistics, and transportation data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Equipment Work Order management in association with Service Delivery and Sales.
- Monitor productivity metrics, demand patterns, and transactional data to support operational decision-making.
- Conduct weekly invoice reviews, reclassifications, and validation activities to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports related to inventory, distribution, transportation, and supply chain performance.
- Support monthly performance reporting and present key metrics and insights for leadership.
- Identify root causes of data quality issues and recommend corrective actions to improve data integrity.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes and support enhancements to tracking, measurement, and reporting capabilities.
- Lead analytical assessments of inventory, warehousing, and distribution models.
- Initiate purchase requests and stocking requests as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide backup support for daily supply chain operations and assist with additional projects or responsibilities as needed.
Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations analytics role.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and distribution.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP / supply chain systems and strong proficiency in Excel; experience with dashboards or reporting tools is a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication with attention to details and accuracy.
