Key Responsibilities for Accounts Managers
- Manage and oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, sourcing, inventory, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, customer requirements, and operational objectives.
- Plan and coordinate demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory replenishment, and material availability.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, warehouse, sales, finance, and operations teams.
- Monitor supplier performance, material availability, order fulfillment, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, distributors, and logistics partners.
- Support strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and procurement cost optimization.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock accuracy, excess inventory, slow-moving items, and working capital requirements.
- Identify supply chain risks, disruptions, capacity constraints, and delivery challenges and implement mitigation strategies.
- Optimize transportation, warehousing, distribution, and logistics processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials, finished goods, components, and other business requirements.
- Analyze supply chain performance using KPIs such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment, supplier performance, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Implement ERP, SAP, WMS, TMS, and other supply chain technologies to improve visibility and process control.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and supply chain procedures.
- Prepare supply chain reports, dashboards, forecasts, performance reviews, and management presentations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve service levels, optimize resources, and strengthen overall supply chain performance.
Eligibility Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CIPS, or equivalent qualifications may be preferred, depending on the role and country.
- Minimum 5–20 years of relevant supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory, or operations experience, depending on the role and country.
- English communication skills.
