Position Details
· Position: Manager – Procurement
· Department: Supply Chain Management (SCM)
· Location: As applicable
· Experience: 8 – 10 years in Procurement / SCM
· Reporting To: SCM Head
· Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
· AVCOM Infotech Pvt Ltd is seeking a proactive procurement professional to support project-based supply chain operations.
· The role ensures timely procurement and availability of materials for smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Handle end-to-end procurement activities including PRs, RFQs, and PO issuance
· Procure materials as per approved BOQ and project requirements
· Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and distributors
· Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms
· Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
· Maintain procurement documentation and records
· Support audits and compliance requirements
· Monitor inventory levels and assist in cost control initiatives
Key Skills & Competencies
· Strong understanding of procurement and SCM processes
· Experience in project-based procurement (AV / IT / ELV preferred)
· Good negotiation and vendor management skills
· Strong coordination and follow-up abilities
· Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
Qualifications & Experience
· Graduate in any discipline (Engineering / Supply Chain preferred)
· 8 - 10 years of experience in Procurement / SCM
· Experience in AV / IT / ELV environment is an advantage
