About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned with production schedules and customer demand, ensuring efficient procurement and logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with production schedules and customer demand.
- Procurement Management: Manage sourcing of raw materials (filter media, frames, adhesives), ensuring compliance with SOPs and audit standards.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery, quality assurance, and cost-effective procurement.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, implement lean inventory practices, and reduce holding costs.
- Logistics Optimization: Plan and manage inbound/outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Invoice Generation: Prepare and issue invoices for procurement and supply transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Payment Follow-Up: Track outstanding payments, coordinate with finance teams, and follow up with vendors/customers to ensure timely settlements.
- Audit-Ready Documentation: Maintain structured records for procurement, inventory, logistics, invoices, and payments to support audits and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain operations with business goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, implement automation tools, and drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in HVAC or filter manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory control, and invoice/payment processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and audit-ready documentation.
