Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. The role requires strong coordination across warehouses, transporters, and internal teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with logistics service providers for timely vehicle placement as per dispatch plans.
• Plan and execute dispatches in coordination with warehouse teams based on order projections.
• Monitor end-to-end shipment movement and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Verify and control freight charges as per agreed rate contracts and commercial terms.
• Ensure timely processing and clearance of transporter invoices within defined TAT.
• Handle logistics-related issues such as transit damages, short deliveries, and shipment discrepancies.
• Arrange and track RTV (Return to Vendor) pickups from multiple locations.
• Maintain proper documentation including LR copies for audit and claim purposes.
• Prepare and publish MIS reports on transportation TAT and warehouse performance (O2D).
• Coordinate appointment-based deliveries for retail and e-commerce clients.
• Ensure compliance with GST, E-way Bill, and other statutory requirements.
• Analyze logistics data to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
• Optimize routes and transportation costs through effective planning.
• Maintain accurate inventory and supply chain records.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Warehouse) for smooth operations.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and warehouse operations.
• Drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
• Train and guide team members within the supply chain function.
Requirements & Skills
• 4–6 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or transportation management.
• Strong knowledge of freight operations, warehouse coordination, and logistics processes.
• Hands-on experience with GST, E-way bill, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP B1, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Qualification
Graduate / Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
