Position Title: Manager – Supply Chain

Job Summar
yThe Manager– Supply Chain will lead export market end-to-end supply chain operations of the Visakhapatnam biodiesel manufacturing plant, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, customer development, vendor development and customer relationship management. This role demands strategic planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused supply chain management in alignment with corporate goals and regulatory standards
.
Key Responsibiliti
- Assist in export market development towards finding new customers and markets and build relationships with existing customers to enhance brand value and positionin
- Ability to analyses and research about industry trends at an international level and be updated with latest industry news, regulations and trends that may affect supply chain operations of both inward and outwar
- Oversee entire supply chain operations of the plant starting from raw material, sourcing, procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory, and warehousing managemen
- Detailed ideas and analysis of export market developments and export market management along with customer relationship managemen
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies based on market study/ market trends to make timely supply chain decisions regarding procurement of raw materials and delivery of finished good
- Optimize inventory levels to support production needs while minimizing carrying cost
- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliver
- Coordinate closely with production, finance, and quality departments to align supply chain activities with operational requirement
- Ensure compliance with SEZ, customs, and environmental regulations related to materials movemen
- Develop and maintain KPIs to track and improve supply chain performanc
- Use ERP and digital tools for better supply chain visibility and control through constant improvemen
- Lead risk management initiatives to ensure continuity of supply and resolve bottleneck
- Manage and mentor the supply chain team, fostering continuous improvement and professional growt
- Knowledge about freight forwarding, ship chartering, charter party agreements, shore tank and density calculation along with assessment of material in ship tank
Qualificati
- MBA/PGDM in Foreign Trade / International business from a reputed instituti
- Certified course in Export Market Developme
- 8-10 years of experience in supply chain and customer relationship management, with at least 5 years in international business operations for a manufacturing un
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end supply chain functi
- Strong knowledge of SEZ procedures, regulations, and ERP syste
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills along with leadership, analytical, and negotiation abiliti
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven industry which functions in a highly dynamic mark
