Supply Chain Intern – E-waste & Refurbishment

Anjani E-Waste Recycling Private Limited is the CPCB-authorized e-waste management facility in Jharkhand, dedicated to sustainable and responsible electronic waste management. Our state-of-the-art half-acre facility specializes in refurbishment, reverse logistics, secure data destruction, and recycling. We are committed to the principles of Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, and Refurbish, helping businesses and communities transition toward a greener and more sustainable future.
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Intern – E-waste & Refurbishment to support procurement, reverse logistics, and refurbishment operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to vendor acquisition, supply chain coordination, and real-world startup operations. The intern will work closely with the founder and operations team to strengthen sourcing networks and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with scrap dealers, refurbishers, and appliance suppliers
- Build and maintain a structured vendor and supplier database
- Conduct market research to identify sourcing opportunities
- Assist in procurement, vendor negotiations, and sourcing operations
- Support expansion of sourcing networks across Jharkhand and Bihar
- Coordinate reverse logistics, inventory tracking, and refurbishment workflows
- Prepare reports on sourcing, inventory, and operational performance
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic understanding of supply chain management, procurement, or logistics
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
- Self-driven and comfortable working in both field and office environments
- Interest in sustainability, recycling, or circular economy initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Supply Chain, Business, Environmental Studies, or related field
- Prior internship or experience in supply chain, recycling, or operations is a plus
